BSc (Hons) Clinical Herbalism students are set to benefit from a range of new anatomical models recently added to support the study of anatomy and physiology.
Emma Barker Lecturer in Clinical Herbalism, said: "Understanding the structure and function of the human body can be challenging, and these detailed 3D models will provide students with a valuable hands-on learning resource.
"By allowing learners to explore anatomical structures in greater depth, the models will help strengthen their understanding of key concepts and the inner workings of the body."
This knowledge forms a vital foundation as students progress through their studies, including the exploration of pathophysiology and the development of clinical skills.
The resources will also support students as they become student practitioners in the training clinic, where they will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
It is hoped that these new additions will enrich the student experience, enhance learning outcomes, and help students build confidence as they prepare for their future careers in healthcare.
