Laura is a part-time lecturer for the Clinical Herbalism degree course. Laura loves being able to help inspire and guide budding practitioners throughout the world of herbal medicine.
Laura qualified as a Medical Herbalist in 2017. From there she built experience working at a natural health clinic in North Lincolnshire alongside integrative doctors, nutritionists and other holistic practitioners. In 2022 she set up her own herbal medicine practice in Lincoln where, alongside consultations, Laura runs herb walks, workshops and talks on natural health and well-being. Laura is also a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).
Laura's journey into natural health began when she was drawn to research her own health needs in her 20's. Laura was amazed at what a difference dietary adjustments, herbal supplements and reducing stress made to her health. From there she was hooked. As she started a family, she wanted to find natural alternatives in pregnancy and to help her family with everyday ailments. Then she stumbled across the herbal medicine degree clinic in Lincoln and knew she had found her vocation! Laura is very proud to help others on the same inspiring path, which has so deeply enriched her life.
