The BSc (Hons) Clinical Herbalism tutors and students went on a trip to visit Herbal Apothecary - a leading UK herbal medicine manufacturer.
Michelle Jaafar, Clinic Technician at the School of Complementary Medicine, said: " The students had a really good trip.
"It was a great opportunity to observe the whole process, from herbs arriving on site to being changed into tincture, to then being dispatched.
"Everyone enjoyed seeing the innovative methods used by the company and how much they valued being part of the herbal community.
"It was an interesting and engaging day that was very much geared to being a two-way conversation about many insightful aspects of the herbal manufacturing process."
